Jenny Jermy


Jenny has several years experience in employment law, working with a broad range of clients. She represents both employee and employer clients at all levels including mediation, the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court.

Jenny is experienced in a range of employment law issues including:

· business restructuring
· health and safety in employment
· negotiation and enforcement of employment agreements
· personal grievances
· restraints of trade
· performance issues
· disciplinary and termination procedures

Jenny’s main area of interest is advising small to medium-sized businesses on their obligations including the formation of valid employment agreements, correct use of the 90-day trial period, restructuring, medical incapacity, disciplinary and termination of employment issues.

Jenny is involved in several organisations, including:

· Aspire Incorporated – Board member
· HRINZ Wellington Branch – Committee member
· NZ Law Society Wellington Branch – Employment Law Committee Secretary
· Wellington Women in Law Committee - member

In her spare time, Jenny enjoys designing and creating her own clothes, catching up with friends and family as well as going to the beach.
